I often joke by saying "I don't know what I want to be when I grow up!"  That's because I am a part-time x-ray tech, a CPR instructor and now a photographer, but my most important job is being a wife to Eddie (for over 26 years now) and the Mother to our 3 boys. They are my life!  Photography has always been important to me.  Even way back when my Daddy would take a photo with his Polaroid and I couldn't wait until he would quit fanning that paper so we could see what the picture looked like.  When we got married that was a priority!  We were on a budget and that was most important to me. I knew that at the end of the day, I wanted to be able to have good pictures that would last a lifetime.  When I became a Mother it became even more important!  I wanted to capture everything so I could hold on to that day and that memory forever.  Now as my boys are already grown up on me (boy, did that happen too FAST), I'm so glad I have taken so many photos.  Now I'm honored and so humbled to have the opportunity to capture the memories for people that are my friends, and now strangers that have become my new friends through photography!  My goal is to capture an emotion, a look and that "real" smile.  I love to get a photo of that Senior boy that's about to graduate.  He thinks he's a man, and he is quickly becoming that, but when his Mama looks at that picture, she stills sees that little boy, and it stirs that emotion that we Mamas get.  That's when I know I've done my job right.  I would be honored to help you capture a memory.  Feel free to contact me anytime at (252)347-5259 or by email at gsphoto[email protected].  Thanks for visiting my site!
